Legal Aid for Others

When I was dealing with being falsely accused of a crime (which I was convicted of due to not being able to afford a lawyer), I went to the court house to seek assistance from legal aid. The woman in the office were busy having a personal conversation when I arrived and it didn't cease for at least 5-10 minutes. When they finally addressed me they were visibly irritated. At the time I was not dressed my best and am a young man. I know for a fact had I been a mother, an elder or some other demographic they would have been far more forthcoming but in the end they dismissed me as quickly as they could and refused to answer many of my questions. They were also quite abrasive.
